NEWS ABOUT THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

The spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is currently leading to drastic measures in Europe. In Switzerland, all publicly accessible institutions, schools and universities will remain closed until 19 April 2020, public and private events will be banned, and a curfew is not yet in force in Switzerland – as things stand today. At the borders, there will be massive time losses in some cases due to travel restrictions. These decisions are intended to slow down the spread of the infection as much as possible and continue to cause massive disruption to infrastructure throughout the country.

We in the Schneider Group are of course also feeling the effects of the measures that have been decided. We are adhering to the government’s recommendation that our employees should work in their home offices wherever possible. Despite all this, we are still 100% operational and able to act without restrictions. Our branches worldwide can still be reached by e-mail or telephone during normal office hours. Please do not visit our branches at this time.

We, the Schneider Group, therefore comply with the recommendations of the respective federal authorities. This regulation will be in force until April 19, 2020, in order to reduce the spread of the virus and ensure the safety of our employees.

We would like to thank our employees, customers and partners around the world for their trusting cooperation and are confident that together we will overcome these difficult times.
