How was your first job interview at Schneider?
It was and still is the only job interview I’ve ever had – back then, it was for the apprenticeship position with us. I was very nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. Apparently, it wasn’t so bad since I ended up getting the job.
What was the biggest challenge you faced at Schneider?
The biggest challenge I faced was when I transferred to a different branch internally and worked at our location in Geneva for some time. New language, new environment, new processes – stepping out of my comfort zone was a big challenge, but it also personally helped me grow. Besides finally learning French, I was able to learn a lot on a personal level as well.
Why should I entrust my goods to Schneider?
Big enough to handle, small enough to care! I believe that with our size, we have a great mix of competitive prices and options, but we are still personally dedicated to our customers and cater to their individual needs. That’s what sets us apart from many other freight forwarders in the market.
Why is Zurich worth a trip?
Zurich is a very interesting city for me, offering many scenic attractions due to its location. The city itself has a lot of highlights to offer, such as the old town on both sides of the Limmat River with its many shops and restaurants. For culture enthusiasts, visiting various galleries, museums, theaters, or concerts is highly recommended.
Do you have a motto or wisdom for life?
Treat the janitor with as much respect as the CEO – do good, and good things will come to you.
