With Schneider since 2017

In September 2010, Magali started her apprenticeship as a forwarding agent at Schneider in St. Louis. After successfully completing her apprenticeship, she worked for another company for three years before returning to Schneider in April 2017. This step back into her apprenticeship company has more than paid off for Magali. She now manages the customs business in Sierentz, France.

What three keywords come to mind spontaneously about Schneider as an employer?

Familiar, ambitious, innovative. Despite its growth-oriented mindset, Schneider feels like a family where employees support each other and are there for one another. Schneider promotes the development of its employees and offers them opportunities to enhance their skills and career prospects.

What was the biggest challenge you faced at Schneider?

Undoubtedly, taking over the position as Customs Manager for France is the biggest challenge in my professional career. I would like to once again thank the management as well as the branch managers in France for their trust.

What are the three most important qualities for good teamwork?

Organisation, mutual support and communication.

What does your perfect holiday look like?

The location doesn’t matter, the most important thing for me is to spend a vacation with my family.

Do you have a motto or wisdom for life?

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, its about learning how to dance in the rain.” – Vivian Greene
