The Schneider Group is appointing André Strebel as CEO. He is taking over the position from long-standing CEO Hans Brunner, who will relinquish operational management on 1 May 2018 after more than 47 years with Schneider + Cie AG. André Strebel, who has been with the company for 25 years and a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors, says: “I look forward to continuing to develop the Schneider Group together with my colleagues on the Executive Committee. 

Systematically aligning our activities with the needs of our customers will remain our top priority.” The outgoing CEO, Hans Brunner, adds: “It is good, that this internal succession scheme gives long-serving and experienced managers the opportunity, to take on new roles, and I am sure that André Strebel and his team will continue to move the company forward successfully.”
